Hub & Soul

Hub & Soul, an event located in downtown Lincoln, NE, is designed for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate musicians, food and Lincoln’s parks. With the help of their sponsors, the event is focused on bringing the community together, which they achieve by organizing a free event with local bands and The Hub Cafe as their caterer.

The Goal

With Hub & Soul I tried to capture the atmosphere you typically feel at local shows, personal, grounded, and full of energy. Inspired by vintage textures and indie design, the visuals aim to reflect the raw, lived-in feel of Lincoln’s music scene. Bold type, warm tones, and subtle imperfections help create something rooted, thoughtful, and down-to-earth.
